no fire to plugs

jeep would not start so I decided it was time to buy new parts. 85 CJ7 - replaced starter, distributor, cap, and rotor and ignition coil, solenoid, ignition control module, plugs, and plugs wires. Also bought new rebuilt carburetor. All looks nice and new under the hood and cranks over real strong but not getting any spark to plugs. What am I missing. Is there a engine reset button.

No, there is no reset button. Have you checked
[*]to see if there is voltage to the ignition module,[*]or voltage to the coil?[*]Do you know how to test things with a volt meter?[*]Do you have a manual, or[*]an electronic schematic?[/list]
What engine does the Jeep have in it?

Re: no fire to plugs

It turned out to be a voltage problem. Noticed that fuel gage indicator did not move when turning key to on position. I jiggled and pushed on wiring connector underneath dash and attached to steering column. Suddenly it started. Engine is 6 cyl 258 4.2 liter.
