New trailer with the new truck

I started a post on this a couple weeks ago and promised a pic. I had gone a couple weeks without having a good oppritunity for a photo. On the way home from getting the trailer Wife shot a pic at the rest stop. It is a bit dark, but those of you who have wheeled with me know this is quite an improvement from my 83 chev and angle Iron frame trailer.

The new trailer is a total change I can even jack stuff up on it. No more unloading junk just to take the tires off and drag it back on. Combines and busses look out!

Re: New trailer with the new truck

It's a ROCKIN TOW RIG! Jeff stopped by the house on the way home. How nice is a 4X4 powerstroke with leather and DVD for the kids with a HOG brand new gooseneck for a scrap hauler. It's awesome. It was so nice I couldn't stand it and had to put the first dent in it with a 2lb sledge............just to make myself feel better.

Re: New trailer with the new truck

I am thrilled with it. I have never had a nice truck or a new trailer, so I am stoked.

As for the 2 jeeps Dirt dog and I were discussing this Sunday and I think I could get 2 cj5's on it no prob, but I not 2 wranglers.

I wanted something big enough for 2, but after manuvering a 30 foot around, it was just to long to get into half of the places I need to go on a daily basis, so I had to go 26 foot.

I still have to get a winch on it so I can put it to use. there are junk cars everywhere screaming my name...

Re: New trailer with the new truck

Well a few pix of the trailer with the winch mounted.

I drug this up until the batery gave out for the winch. So dave it has a few more scratches now. I even dropped the wheel off on one side and the only damage was to the car. never even needed a sledge to get it on.

Traditional shot with the kid.

Another

Over all I like it, Just needs a shallower aproach angle on the deck. Everything so far has hung up. The 300.00 champion winch is decent so far but it sucks the batery juice.

Re: New trailer with the new truck

I think your gonna have to do what we talked about Jeff, tie leads from the front of the truck to the rear with large cable and a quick dissconnect. Hanna's such a doll. Delane said she had fun and wished she lived closer. And on a side note.........It's the first time I've seen Jeff in a good while. He's very "petite" and damn ......"SESSSY". Hats off to you bro for all the effort you put to taking off the pounds. Thats AWESOME.

I think I'll start a new thread about it.
