65 cj5 F-Head layout help

Well a friend of mine got a nice CJ5. well the motor needs some work for the most part a new carb.
We are very new to the older motors in Jeeps and i dont have a clue what some of the things are for. Like the steel lines that run from the lower back of the motor to the top of the time chain cover. we think its oil but are not %100 there is other stuff to. If anyone has a cool like or something that would tell us more about what we are finding would be sweet.

Thanks.
