Herculiner and soud deadening

Ive recently herculined my CJ. But the jeep is still too loud. Can I put sound deadening (the silver stuff that sticks to the body) over the herculiner then Herculine over it? Or is there a better way? How-about sticking to carpet pads and putting them in. that way i can remove the carpet sound deadening for topless season?

Re: Herculiner and soud deadening

about the only way to get the noise down is use carpet and padding....the Herc (and other products like it) do a good job of reducing the noise of rocks hitting the tub...but thats about it.

The key to making it quiet is to remove the source of noise...like mudders and loud mufflers....
