Temp Wire - Signal Type?

Who off the top of their head knows what the output is from that white wire that is supposed to go to the temp gauge?

Oh....I guess you might need a little more info....it's my SBC...came ouf ot a 93 Chevy P/U...5.7L TBI....the temp wire is one of the few I'm not using....I am using my stock gauge and sending unit.....so I have this spare wire.....so I'm thinking, hey, maybe I can use it to control my cooling fans....assuming I know what the signal is....

Is it ma or Volts?

What load will it drive?

Hey John,

Do you know what the GM ECU number is that's controlling the system?
