Where can I get rear end shims?

I am looking for shims to allign my pinion with my driveshaft. Where can I get these and what sizes do they come in. Also I have OME springs that have small shims built onto them can I get an additional 5 degree shim and set it on top of it.

Thanks,
Jason

Re: Where can I get rear end shims?

Jason,
You can get the shims from 4 Wheel parts Wholsalers. I used the ones that are marked 2 1/2*(degrees). They are pretty cheap, I think around $5-8.00, been a while so I don't remember exactly how much.
Hope this helps.

Re: Where can I get rear end shims?

Jason,
Rubicon Express carries steel shims. Most of the ones at 4WPW are aluminum and will flatten out over time. If I were you I would find out how what the existing shim is and instead of stacking another one on it, get a shim which is the total amount of shim that you need. Stacking them just sounds like trouble waiting to happen.
