Anyone using an insulated softop?

Does anyone have an insulated softop, or insulated liner for a softop made by California Softops of Alberta, Canada? Or any other brand? How do you like it? How quiet is it compared to an ordinary uninsulated softop?

It's either insulate my softop or get a hardtop for winter, and I'd rather do the former because I don't have anyplace to keep a hardtop in the summer. Thanks for your help.

Re: Anyone using an insulated softop?

California soft tops .......of Alberta Canada???? (is that some sort of oxymoron)......You must have an older (not a TJ) jeep since the soft and hard top have about the same insulation qualities ......zero........you must suffer from too much air infiltration.......the TJ soft top takes care of this quite well.......but a soft top liner might be great for sound deadening........I'd like to hear about someone who has used these liners as well.

Re: Anyone using an insulated softop?

I have a friend that uses one of the California soft top liners in his soft top.(YJ top on a CJ-7) He really likes it. He lives in CA, so I'm not sure how well it insulates from the cold, but it sure quieted it down and the A/C works better. He thinks it was worth the money.
