Since noone else has linked to it yet figured I would. Since when did flares become fenders?

me like, i want one to molest er i mean build into something cool. I bet it would be a royal pita to "strip it down" and build it into a real crawler with all the darn electronics out there these days.

Did you notice that it states a "ohv 3.8L V6" for the motor and an estimated price of $28,000? I wonder if the rest of the TJ line will get the same motor. -- Mike

I just found a picture of the 4 door version and I think I dont like it. If you want a 4 door buy a liberty or a cherokee. Why ruin the only true Jeep left in the lineup? Dammit this makes me mad!!! I'm gonna go sit in my Jeep and cuss!

Looks like they are making it easier to rip up off and run 40" boggers.

Well you can't just go around saying you found the pic of the four door without posting the link... are you insane???

So far it doesn't seem to be as bad as what I was fearing would happen. A close up in-person eval is much needed though.

Why do I doubt it has "electronicly detaching anti sway bars" I am no engineer, but No way would I want the stability in a crash controled by an electrical componet.

I will stick with my 97, took me 6 years to make mine ugly that one comes pre uglied from the factory.

Re: 2007 Wrangler Pics...link to thread on JU w/ p

Jeff, its the same idea they are using in the power-wagon Rams. the sway bar has a electronically actuated mechanical disconnect in the middle of the shaft. I imagine the shaft stays locked unless power is applied....if its gonna fail, it better fail in the locked position

also it says "the fenders can be removed just like the doors"
guess that gives it more tire clearance and less likely to bang em up on the trail..... *shrug* not sure if thats front and rear or just the front.....interesting idea

i like the look...but i could really go both ways as to whether i "like it"

i ahve a feeling it will grow on me more as time goes on
