Example of why you should always use your E-Brake

Well finally laid my jeep on its side, unfortunately I was not in it at the time. So please revel in my shear stupidity and see the photo of how my jeep popped out of gear, rolled out of the garage and rolled off the neighbors retaining wall... By the way can you see how much clearance I gained by going to the Jeep Medic belly pan

You are a big man to admit you are a complete dump ash...To think...I rode with you all the way to Indiana and back in that Heep...Sucks to be you today!

Insurance gonna cover it? Or do we need to start looking for some Rubi's in Junk yards? Might be a good time to go flat fender (since you gonna have to replace one of them anyway!)...A lift might be in order too (with 10 inches of lift, it might not have rolled...just "articulated" :-0)

Good thing is, I know where I'm going when I need to measure for shocks...:-))

Re: Example of why you should always use your E-Br

Insurance should cover it, the damage was actually not as bad as I expected, both flares, door, front fneder and soft top as a couple small tears,,,,could have been worse,,,,sending it to the dealership tommorrow to have them fix the obvious damage and check for other like the rear axle shaft, when the tow truck was flipping it up right, it put a whole lot of strain on that drivers side rear axle......and yes I am a dump ash, totally, and its good therapy to admit it in a public forum..... Well all that I see is that a retaining wall is much worse than having a creek at the end of your down hill driveway.

I'd never do something like that.

Kerry, Didn't your neighbor at the old house always park his big ol' pick up truck right across the street from your driveway...guess putting the Jeep on it's side is way better than smacking the neighbor's truck...

Sounds to me like you need to take it out more often so it doesn’t try to leave home on its own and end up getting itself hurt.

i always refer to my jeeps' unattended trip over a four foot drop and halfway down a pasture as...

"tested tough"

it was an interesting day

kerryp, Are you sure you were not using that retaining wall as an RTI ramp?
