Re: OT - Cold Snap

Power just came back on here. Me the Dog and the Kid spent the night over at WHTTRASH's last night since he at least had Gas heated Hot Water. His place got down to about 60 which wasn't bad since it was about high 20's outside.

Ice storms suck... I'd rather have 5' of snow than 0.5" of ice.....

Re: OT - Cold Snap

LA falling into the Pacific is a big misconception about the earthquakes here....what is actually happening is that we are sliding North....they figure that in about 10,000 years we will be up around San Francisco......that just puts us closer to good Chinese food....

I'll take the earthquakes any day over the cold, the Huricanes and the tornado's....besides, the 4WD will come in handy for the big one....I'll be able to drive over the rubble.

Re: OT - Cold Snap

doesnt matter where you live really...on the west coast you have forest fires, mudslides and earthquakes. On the east coast you have hurricanes plus theres that tital wave we're waiting for like in the day after tomorrow. You will find me floating in an innertube with a martini my sunglasses and a 4 wheel drive magazine. And everywhere inbetween theres tornadoes. So everyone build a house...on solid rock...with a basement and an inflatable raft in the attic then we'll be safe as long as it hits us when we're awake lol. It's 38 degrees here right now. When I lived in san clemente coldest I remember was in the 50's. All that nice weather and nothin green growin...you keep it lol!
No hard feelings I just like my lawn.

Re: OT - Cold Snap

Dawg - I'll send you some snow and some cold. Here's what it looks like outside my window. I think it was Thursday morning, about a foot of snow, and 2 degrees.

Pete
