new 2006 golden eagle

anyone else see the new golden eagle trim on the wrangler section of the jeep website?

http://www.jeep.com/wrangler/

its just a cosmetic package, which im sure is overpriced, but i think it looks nice......would be nice to get a rubicon unlimited in that trim

what was included in the original golden ealge packages? im curious to see if they are similar

I saw that a while back. Maybe it is supposed to appeal to buyers who went for the Sahara model. Looks nice.

Re: new 2006 golden eagle

Lists it as having the logo on the fender, side of the hood, spare tire cover, ebroidered seats, Dana 44HD rear, 30 inch tires, gold colored aluminum wheels, and an optional hood decal, which isn't as cool as the original. I wonder if they'll gold tint the hard top windows.

Re: new 2006 golden eagle

Mine had ps, pb, gold wagon spoke wheels, tach, clock, tilt steering column with 3 spoke wheel, low back levi seats, black vinyl gauge trim panel, A/C, hard top with bronze tinting and carpet.

I like the look of the original sticker better too. I'm glad they used a different one for the TJ instead of using the original on a Trendy Jeep. lol

Looks OK but not what I'm into. Jeep seems to have loved the black and gold combo on the cherokees over the years, but all it does is remind me of

dunna dunna,,, dunna dunna dunna,,, dunna dunna ,,, dunna dunna dunna, ,, dooo dida dooo,, doo dida doo,

hehehe I wonder what hasslehof thinks?

I'm liking everything but the decals. Why can't they have maybe 3 models. wimpy , beafy and anabolically. I might actually let go of my cj if I could get the Rapheal Palmero addition. Toyota really caught on to something with Scion, build it and built in pricing. perhaps Jeep could really make the dough on a situation like that. Lets face it if I could order a 4" or 6" lift kit bigger tires lockers, solid cage and so on, I might not get so greazy on the weekends. What would I do then??
