I did see the strangest thing though. This guy was dressed up as Santa and he was driving a converted rear-engine lawn mower. The conversion was a sleigh body mounted to the mower with eight tiny reindeer sticking out the front! My first reaction was laughter but the longer I sat at the redlight the more I could see the detail/work he put into this. I rolled down the window and asked why and found out he did it a few years back for his grandkids. He pointed out the the deer light up and so does Rudolph's nose!

That's great Galen, Looks good.
I sometimes wish my Jeep was pretty enough to be in a parade, then I remember pretty Jeeps are a more favorable target for thieves.
My Jeep sat in the driveway all day while I was at my brothers house cutting up a tree that fell across his driveway yesterday.

Next door neighbor is the band booster club president and his son is one of the trombone players...

I actually washed the Jeep for the parade...first time in a while that it's seen anything more than a good pressure wash...Gave it a bit of the sponge action yesterday. Found that the trip to Callalente back in October did gobs and gobs of paint damage...every forward facing surface (grill, leading edge of hood, fenders, windshield frame, roll cage, fender flares...) is all scratched up from the trees and bushes that were overtaking the trails. My Jeep sat neglected in my garage while I helped a buddy put a 8" lift on his new Excursion. Damn that thing is heavy....
