Question about YJ fuse panel

On my 87 YJ, the fuse panel has a large black box attached to the bottom of the panel. It has about five or six connectors that it sticks into. What is it?

Re: Question about YJ fuse panel

It is probably your intermittent wiper relay. Get familiar with it, I have gone thru 3 in a year.

Re: Question about YJ fuse panel

No, its not. I've already replaced my wiper delay box. This box is smaller and plugs right into the fuse panel. Also there is a silver box that hangs from a bundle of wires. What is this one?

Re: Question about YJ fuse panel

The answer to your first question is chime module/buzzer according to my 90 YJ manual. Don't know what the other thing is.
