Where can I get . . .

. . . the little top hat shaped retainer for the heater cables? They're thin stamped steel that fits over a pin, about 3/16" diameter, and holds in place the loop in the end of the wire. There's no groove in the pin to allow a hairpin clip to work.

Re: Where can I get . . .

Are you talking about those little "washer" type parts that push over, and retain the spring on the pin?

Yep, their available at most hardware stores in the parts bins bins... I think they're called pushnuts.

Re: Where can I get . . .

I've seen two different styles of those things to retain the cable onto the heater box thingy's. One is top hat shaped, and the other is kinda square with a hole punched in it. When squeezed the hole gets bigger so it'll stick. Back in my day working at an Ace Hardware we sold at least one of the kinds, maybe both.
