MarineOpLaw\'s disease is spreading

Couldn't pass this thing up.

Actually, it's pretty much a turd, but for the price I hated to see what is left in good shape go to the crusher. The frame and tub are a lost cause, but there are quite a few salvageable things left on it. I haven't got it home yet, as I can't find CrazyEddie and his trailer today, but it's mine.
I'm just going to rob it of a few things, and hope some of you can find good use for some of the other items.
Let me know if you see something you can give a good home.
I'll post a list of for sale items after I get it home and figure out what all is moving over to Kathy's YJ, and what isn't worth messing with.
Oh yeah, the D-300 is already sold.

Whatever crap is unwanted from the axles, poopy little Dana 30 front, motor mounts, skid plate, running gear in general.

And I want it's ashtray if it has one.

Good Score.

Need help with the dissection?

Edit: Does the dead guy laying under it come with it??

Re: MarineOpLaw\'s disease is spreading

Sorry Mr. Cancer-stick, but the ash tray is going in Kathy's.
I plan to keep the windshield/frame, either it's doors or Kathy's, whichever are better, and possibly the hard top. Oh, and the dash, gauges and side mirrors.

(Interuption, Kathy just said Dale could have the butt-bucket)

Things worth having include;
-AMC-20 supposedly has 1-pc axels, but I haven't confirmed that.
-Rear seat is almost perfect. Not sure if it's tumble or not.
-Hood and grill are good.
-Tail gate, fold down type.
-2.5/T-4 supposedly are good, but it doesn't start. He said it turns over, but I wasn't interested enough to try it.
-Either these or Kathy's hard doors. Whichever we don't use.
-Most likely will sell the hard top also.

WoooooooooooooHo, Grumpy gets a butt bucket.

Huh.... the doors are old ones... not paddle handles. Will fit fine on everything through the YJ's but the tub latch is different isn't it?

Re: MarineOpLaw\'s disease is spreading

I guess you're right.
I was just thinking CJ/YJ were interchagable, but I guess not completely plug/play.
I'll have to investigate further when I get it here, hopefully tomorrow. If they are a lot better than her's it shouldn't be a big deal to swap the strikers.
Ask Danial if he want's them, or her other ones. He was saying he wanted some at Attica a few weeks ago.
He gets first dibs, and I think a heck of a deal can be arranged.

Re: MarineOpLaw\'s disease is spreading

I have screen door style doors on my yj, can't remember what you have to do to run them, maybe the right style striker.

Re: MarineOpLaw\'s disease is spreading

I'd love to have the passenger side windshield hinge if you're not keeping it. And I know you said you were keeping the mirrors......but I'd take those and the brackets and all that too if you decided you didn't want them.
