Re: OT: Is there ANYTHING a Jeep can\'t do?

Color me skeptical. Is that Cessna a jet? 80MPH stall speed? Well they never actually said it but implied a high stall speed. How long is the landing strip and how did the Jeep get up to that speed in that distance and then stop at the end? I want to see a closer picture of the plane to confirm that it even HAS retractable landing gear.

It may be able to save a plane...but a jeep still can't pay for itself!!!

Re: OT: Is there ANYTHING a Jeep can\'t do?

they could have been talking about 80mph air speed....if they were using the aircraft as a reference. in a 15mph head wind thats a gournd speed of 65...which isnt impossible at all

i dunnow...i wasnt there.....

FYI superskeptic Taz...that or any variation of the Cessna from a 150 to a 182 has a stall speed of about 50 knots...not so fast.

Re: OT: Is there ANYTHING a Jeep can\'t do?

From its silouette It looks like a cessna stationair which is a propeller plane and has a very low stall speed. I'm not sure if they come with retractable landing gear or not but I'm sure that a 4.0 tj floored could keep up with it if the pilot wanted it too.

Re: OT: Is there ANYTHING a Jeep can\'t do?

stall speed is 54 knots with flaps down and 62 with em up but stationair is fixed landing gear so it must be another model
