Assist a Jeeper & Hurricane Victim!

Many of you have family or friends that were left homeless in the wake of Katrina. Many of you have donated to the relief organizations assisting the victims all along the Gulf coast. For those that haven't or want to assist further, here's an opportunity.

One such family is Al Sipe's. They had recently relocated to Mississippi. While physically unharmed, his family has lost everything. The American Jeepster Club has responded in the form of both donating monies & setting up a PayPal account for Al & his family.

You can send money via Paypal to [email protected]
or by USPS at
AJC c/o
John Briscione
4250 Rommitch Ln.
Pensacola, FL 32504

Please make funds payable to AJC (American Jeepster Club) and you can earmark them AL Sipe. We will transfer funds bi-weekly to Al's son per his wishes.

Al's neighborhood...

Al's home (still standing, but ruined by water & mud)...

His wifes car (totaled from being submerged in saltwater)...

I think this isn't getting noticed at the top of the list, so I'm going to unsticky it.

Re: Assist a Jeeper & Hurricane Victim!

I talked to Al on Saturday by cell phone.
FYI, Al is middle aged, retired military, has a couple of grown kids, he and wife had careers.
When we spoke on the phone he said, "you know Richard, I thought I was doing allright". The storm has wreaked havoc on their lives. They didn't have flood insurance because they were 30' above sea level. All of their possesions are trash, their house is trash, one car is trash, both of their jobs do not exist anymore! They are having to sign up for unemployment benefits just to be able to stay and finalize the insurance money for the house and belongings. Hopefully the ins. co. will total the house and they can get some cash and move on.
Please put yourself in their shoes and send a few bucks.
