O/T Dumb humpday question. Something E85 vs M85?

I just heard someone talking about converting to E85 or M85. Also something about E10 and FFV also was in the conversation.

Sounded interesting but couldn't keep up with the conversation. What are they talking about.??

E85 is a ethanol blend of fuel. 15% ethanol, its much cheaper than normal gas. Not all cars can run it. My jeep can, but it really doesnt like it. E10 i'm going to guess is the normal 10% ethanol mix unleaded gas sold. E85 is a bit harder to find in SD, but readily sold in MN. The E10 is everywhere in SD. I also think FFV is some kind of fuel saving sysem on fords? No idea what m85 is.

FFV means Flex Fuel Vehicle. These vehicles can run either unleaded or E85.
