It\'s been a long road, but the SOA is done!

First off, thanks to those who I've been able to attain the tech info and specs I needed to get this done. Narrowing an axle was definetly worth the time and experience I gained. I've got my set-up tires on (bald Thornturds 35x12.5), just long enough to get me to Schwabs for a set of the Toyo MT 35"x13.5's. I'm hoping these springs settle in to fit these new shoes.

Specs:
'88 YJ, 4.2 HO, AX-15, 231
Front- Narrowed HP D44 to G. Waggy width. 4.56/Eaton E-locker.
Rear- G. Waggy D44, 4.56/Eaton E-Locker
Springs- 2" BDS
AA SYE Kit/TW rear DS (17.5" running length)
Height to Bottom of front bumper- 30"
Height to Bottom of rear custom bumper- 25"
Distance from center of the hub to bottom of front/rear stock flare- 26"/27"
Skid Plate Clearance- 20"

For Pic comparison (the helpers):
Emma's height- 46"
Kaden's height- 35"

Still to finish:
Front DS
Wiring E-lockers

Steering looks good (safety first).

How's it work... that's what really matters.

Great use of midgets in the photos (careful they will be stealing your keys pretty soon). Then there is a completely different level after that you won't expect.

While I'm thinking that the project is a complete success.... you are going to run into some serious trouble in the future unless you start working on baseball, basketball, football, soccer, ice skating, cheer leading ... oh my so many things. If you let those midgets fixate on Jeeps.... you are toast man.

Looks great.

I wish I could tell you This is my first experience with bias ply tires, let alone bald thornbirds. I can't hear a thing but the hum, seems like all four tires are unbalanced and they seem to float.

Can't wait to get a new pair of shoes.

I'm curious. What is your 4.2 HO?
