Re: Chevy Exhaust setups.

Well, not going to get much done today.

And now for the obligatory... "WEAR YOUR SAFETY GLASSES AT ALL TIMES."

I always wear mine, and I hopped under the Jeep to see if the nut had stripped again.. got some crap in my eye.

2 hours, many flushes, and even trying to qtip wipe my own eye it was off to Emergency.

Lesson #2: DO NOT GET INJURED AFTER 4PM.

From 8PM to 5AM in emergency. Every time they walked out and called my name, some other drunk moron, or guy with chest pains would stumble through the door.

Lesson #3: When the doctor uses a kneedle to snag the sliver of rust in your eye, it's scary as hell.

He numbed my eye, but that doesn't mean I can't see out it anymore.

So I'm gonna give this a crack tomorrow maybe. I think the plan is to take it down to the parts store, and do it in their parking lot. It's only 2 bolts, and that way I can just keep running in and out until I get a gasket that seals.

Re: Chevy Exhaust setups.

Have you thought about switching over to headers.

I bought some from 4wd.com (Headman) that are made for cj that have 350 engines in them. You will need a welder.

I did mine about three years ago. No leaks and the jeep runs cooler.
