4.3 headers. help...
 

Im looking for some Headers for my 4.3 in the Jeep that dump close to strate down. I have seen v8 headers do this but cant find any 4.3 setup.

See what i want to do is have the Y-pipe come down on the drivers side then go infron of the oil sump on the motor then meet up wih the other side. I dont want it to go under the trans like the Yjs are setup and i dont have the room to go down the driver side frame rail.


Pics of anyones setup with Headers and a 4.3 in there YJ or even CJ would be sweet. THnaks.

I have a similar issue with my 5.7L. I need to run my right exhaust straight down and under the pan over to the left side. The only stock Chevy manifold that does that is what they call a Ram Head. However, I don't think the Ram head will work on the left side because my power steering pump depends on the exhaust manifold bolts.

Have you tried Advance Adaptors? I have a set on a 3.8 Chevy(same block) that are configured like the original cast manifolds. The driver's side drop down and the pass. side sweeps back. They were around $150 4 yrs. ago when I bought them.
