Maintenance Required Light

i have a 91 wrangler renegade. the maintenance required light is on and when i took it to the shop the guy said that there's nothing actually wrong with engine. what do i have to check out or replace

Did you just hit 75,000 miles? or 150,000 miles? it automaticaly comes on, Jeep thinks you need to have your emissions stuff checked periodicaly...

im at 133,000 miles. should i still check the emissions or can i just turn the light off somehow

just pull the bulb out that its the easyest way to fix that
(my light got stuck on after swaping and removing parts)

Well for goodness sake... try code recovery using the Key-on Key-off method to see if any of the codes are still stored. Then, if there's nothing... and the system is clean, it's fine. If not, keep an eye on it! It's really that simple.
