O/T What would you do?

Say there is a web site that everyone uses for information. In fact you yourself directed people to this site for help. This site has been around for years and is replicated across several sites.

Then one day you’re trying to do something and you realize this guy has a lot of mistakes and omissions.

Do you
1: Write the guy and say "Dude, nise site but your loaded with mistakes. Here are the first 20 you made"

2. X20 "Nice site but I notice a mistake" and repeat it "X" number of times.

3. "Sir, I like your site but I notice a few mistakes. Would you be interested in contacting me and we could work together and sorting a few problems

4. Ignore it and create your own web site with all the corrections subtlety noted.

Yeah, I've made the mistake of miss-copying or miss-understanding something only to have it pointed out to much to my chagrin.

You can be right an 30 important points but people only remember the 1 small mistake you made.

Whew.... Glad I don't have a site!

John, I'd point it out to him and if he's game to keep form looking like an idiot, then everybody wins... If he isn't up for Constructive critisism, then screw him, creat your own site with the proper info and send me the link. I'd love to have a link to a site of yours, especially with your CJ electrical knowledge!!!

Re: O/T What would you do?

Reminds me of the old man telling me when I was a youngin'

"Better to keep your mouth shut and let people think your stupid, than to open your mouth and prove it".
