Badlands Article

For those of you who attended the Badlands Bash, I'll need your help. I'd like each one of you to write up a paragraph, or two (Use your discretion), to be included into the article.

ORC's willing to host a gallery of photos, so we can include all of them.

I've asked Dale to send me CD of the photos.. and any help I can get from y'all would be great as I was only one person viewing from one viewpoint.

To all those who helped get me to the bash...

Tom, that's a great question! The best way to get the thoughts to me would be Email to:

[email protected]

And by the way, that root beer was great!

Re: Badlands Article

Or maybee how trail leaders are not supposed to ditch their group when the doge broke down.. If you let them in your group they are your responsability.

Re: Badlands Article

What about an article about why you shouldn't let those fancy coiled spring jeeps with one locker and small tires in a group of locked leaf sprung rigs?

Re: Badlands Article

ouch, hostility.

we waited a darn long time until jim told us to go and that it was WELL under control. nick was already strapping up to pull him the rest of the way out. and the fun part was that even when we pulled a little ahead for the yellow dodge, the rest of the group i "ditched" passed us with the black dodge while we helped the yellow one.

so when we did go we left with the intent of rescueing the yellow dodge who was hopeless in the woods... we dedicated a good 1.5 hrs or so, on trail that coulda done in 15 minutes..... so maybe consider that next time you dish out unjust criticism...... and if you dont wanna consider that, then i guess i dont have much else appropriate to say

mike: was that a jab at me too?? or someone else ...cuz i didnt think you were in my group..could be wrong though...that first group started small then i inherited a retardedly huge group somehow and ended up with what seemed like 15+ or so. I tried to stick with similarly built vehicles whenever possible...hopefully I didnt inadvertantly piss you off as well

Re: Badlands Article

All right folks.... be nice.

Greg I am likely to blame for Jeff's comment since I wasn't real happy at the time and did mention it to Jeff (but no one else). I had no idea that Jim told you guys to go on. We had plenty of help (Jim, Nick, Mike and both my Sons) so looking back on things it wasn't a big deal.

I'm happy to trail with, lead or follow any of you. Relax we all had a good time. Big groups are always like that, it's just part of the fun.

Now let's get back to what Larry needs.
