Sons birthday present

First a special thanks to my neighbors who loaned me the trailer and then loaned me their Ford Explorer to tow it with.

She just said, “Mine car.” Kids say these things meaning they are claiming it to play with. Later she was surprised when it went to her house. She wanted to ride so we pushed it back and forth in the driveway for her but then she pointed to the street and said, “Go out there. Go bye-bye.” Then we had to explain, that will be a while.

She’s a good driver too.

Adjust the mirror. (Lincoln Mark IV remote mirrors both sides)

Seat belt on

Turn signal on to pull out.

A few shots of the exterior.

'72 charger wire wheel covers, trendy item at the time.

No Taz on the hood.

The interior.

That tap handle says Schlitz on it.

This is something else from the ‘70s. Might be hard pressed to find a pair today. My son was planning color schemes around these mats.

The happy couple. She says when he gets it done, now they can cruise the Sonic on old car night.

I checked the title, it was issued Nov 1, 1973. The last license plate, issued in 1985, was still in the buggy.

Cute, way cute. Uh-oh, with a sweetheart like that Taz, you can't be such a tough-guy!

That is one nice buggy, I have to say the 70's had style 100%, even though I spent my grammar school years in them

Re: Sons birthday present

Hugely retro but still a cool gift. Very neat Taz.
