O/T Damn thieves

So, like I posted before, my son is getting my old dune buggy for his birthday Sunday. Itís been setting for 16-17 years and the tires were flat so I took a tank down to fill them, several trips but the office is next door.

Well, Iíd known that somebody cut the lock and broke into the storage cubical about 6-7 years ago. I didnít take real good inventory, nothing big was missing. While I was filling the tires, I noticed that they had stolen the radio out of the dune buggy. Really pi$$es me off too, that was the last car radio I had with an 8-track player in it.

While doing some further checking, it appeared they at some point were considering stealing the entire dune buggy because they knocked the lock cylinder out of the steering column. I looked down and there was the cylinder on the floor of the dune buggy Ö with the key still in it.

Re: O/T Damn thieves

That sucks.

My wife lost her garage door opener a few weeks ago. Well guess what - I just realized my battery charger, pressure washer, and laptop are missing out of my garage. Lesson - make sure your wife lockes her car doors at night or do make he keep her new garage door remote ($40) in her purse!

I wish it was leagal to shoot these nogood f-ing thieves

Maybe I should have put some in there.

My son who turns 30 Sunday, had no use for an 8-track player radio and it was pretty funny to realize that some Darwin award winner popped the cylinder with the key in it.

Re: O/T Damn thieves

Taz, if you look hard enough you might still find him trying to unload the 8-track!

We all know that people that dumb end up face-down in a pond somewhere. You've probably already read about them in the newspaper at some point, but haven't realized it yet.

These things. Came after records, after reel to reel, after 4-track, before cassettes, before CDs, before mp3s.

And yes, these are mine. I think Knifeboy can identify the carpet.
