I don't know of anything close around here (northern VA). Though I've never gotten around to hooking up w/ a local group/club, so I may be missing out (ignorant of) what's around close.

Webjeep is from around & far more familiar hereabouts than me... maybe he'll see the post an be able to help you (us) out. Web?

If I'm still here in August, you're more than welcome to come out and visit the 'Rupert Jeep Ranch' & have a CEE-gar! Zap me a PM once you get a little closer to headin' this direction. Here are a few links...

Big Dogs

NoVa Jeepers

GW Nat Forest

There are a ton of local trails depending on where you are going to be. We used to run a bunch of old power line trails, though most have been posted for trespassing now. I know there are a ton of good trails down here around C'Ville and the Shen Valley. When I was a kid we used to do a bunch of trails up in Loudoun County and areas around there, but much of that is developed now. The trails in the GW Forest are nice, there are a ton of different types to keep your interest whether you like mud, rocks, or just twisty, bumpy, slow technical stuff.

Hope this helps, let me know where you're headed.
