Anyone running a HP Ford 9\" rear?

I'm looking for future options for my build-up. I'm considering the HP Ford 9" for the rear of my heep with 37's.

Curries price on an empty nodular HP 3rd member seems reasonable ~ $425.

Anyone running this axle config?

Re: Anyone running a HP Ford 9\" rear?

Im not running one but ive looked into them alot and i dont think that its worth going with a hp rear end unless you use one of these cases bling they actually use a true 9 inch gear set and not just the 8.8's. Im not saying that doing a hi pinion from currie is a bad idea and that it wouldnt be strong, i just think that if you need a hp that bad, you might want to go with the bling case. Otherwise i say just get a standard junkyard 9 and beef it up.
