Opinions wanted on Holley Fuel Injection

I have seen a few folks on this board that don't like the Holley but not many reasons were given. Is it because you have to adjust it? I don't see that as being such a bad thing since you can do it in the cab and make it run the way you want. Are there any other knocks on it? I'm ready to put some FI on my 304 but can't afford the higher end systems. I have a friend that ran the Holley on his old 360 and now on the new 350. He seems to like it and has not had many if any problems with it. What else would you recommend?

Re: Opinions wanted on Holley Fuel Injection

My experience is I have to adjust it. It never seems to be just right. What works in the morning, might not in the afternoon. I've also had 3 injectors go bad, one fuel pump and one TPS. I'll claim responsibility for the TPS though for getting it wet once when washing the engine compartment. Just be sure to mount the controller where you can reach it easily while driving to make adjustments.
