Hickory area Relay for Life. Need rigs for display

The new church my wife is working at now is setting up their first Relay for Life for the American Cancer society. It is a great cause and all of the proceeds go to the charity. My mother passed away from cancer in '97 and the people from the Cancer Society were great. This is a cause that touches almost everyone.
They were joking about me driving the Commando to the relay and all of the kids went nuts wanting to see it. I am trying to see if some of the local wheelers would want to come out and we can have a little 4x4 display on the grounds. Anyone is welcome, it will start at 6 pm on May 20th and goes through the night to the 21st. Refreshments will be available, luminaries will be for sale (in honor or memory of a cancer patient), there will be a race car display, and other entertainment.
It would be great if we could have a few rigs there for the kids to check out, even if it was just for a little while after it starts.
You can PM me or reply here for more info and the location (it is Near Catawba, NC). Or you can call, 828 781 9902.

Thanks,
Chris.

Some of the East Siders should be happy to show off. What's up with them?

Chris - would like to -
WAY Good cause and all, but have previous plans to be at Crackers Neck that weekend.

Even if Brent's Jeep isn't finished.

Which It ain't gonna be - unless he takes a weeks vacation and spends it at the shop.

Or I get tired of looking at it and decide to finish it off.

Hmmmm - I wonder how it will look with 2 yellow fenders, a brown tiger stripe hood and the axles installed upside down.... ??

Speaking of which.
Brent - you ARE gonna flip the backing plates on that "High Pinion 20" back to the right sides aren't you.

We now return this hijacked thread to it's original upright position. You may get up and move freely around the BBS.
