SYE/CV driveshaft

question is I need to do an SYE/cv driveshaft change and I am a bit confused on how to measure my stock driveshaft for length? any help?

I am preparing to lift my 04 TJ with a Rubicon Express 4.5 " superflex kit. Several people have told me I will easily be able to do 35's after a gear change with this kit.

Re: SYE/CV driveshaft

Best method I ahve found is to get everything put together and order the shaft last. Contact the dealer you are buying it from and ask them how they want it mesured. I know that kinda sounds like a cop out on your first question, but some doo things diffrent than others and 1 inch diffrence can be fatal on a TJ

Tom Woods Drive Shafts Has an excellent page on how to measure for their drive shafts here.

Although I have a Rusty's lift I like, I say stay away from them, They have stood me up to many times. It is great that they have plenty of business, But my experience has been less than plesant.

Ditto dude, I tryed to buy heavy duty tie rods from them. I called them 3 times, got pi$$ed and never called back...neither did they. Guess my business wasn't that important. Aaron
