This crawled into my driveway with a box of parts.

I'm pretty sure that my neighbors think that old CJ's must sprout up in my front yard.

Yep there's another one.

My Son Daniel (not a board member at this time) picked up this 1984 CJ-7 a couple of days ago.

Too much diamond plate and those tube things on the side.

Frame is good, 258 is healthy (albeit tuned by stupid), some rust here and there but overall in pretty good shape.

Every wear part in the front axle is toast including the axle universal joints.... all in the box of parts.

Good thing that I just have to "Supervise" the reconstruction.

And it does have this hanging off the front, and it works.

So guess we will bring three CJ-7s to the Bash.

please tell me you will ahve new tires on the Yellow CJ?

that one looks like the best offroader of the 3, jeep

i bet the diamond plate covers up some crazy ugly rust though, so be careful when you take it off that the body doesnt fall off....

Ahhh nope not so far... not my Jeep. We worked on it a bit last night... the Airport called to complain about the noise level.

Open both ends and the front drive wouldn't pull you out of your seat without breaking.

Don't ever forget the nut loose behind the wheel is just as important as the rig.

Body mounts are solid and it looks OK so far... you could be correct.

Cool beans, Dale.
Is this Daniel? He seemed to really enjoy the day we went to Haspin.

Re: This crawled into my driveway with a box of pa

i was judging by the mud tires the mild lift (maybe) and the winch, i assumed it had one-piecers, maybe even a locker since it appears to be made for offraoding witht he bumpers and winch and all

i have seen the red beast in action, so in know it holds its own

anywho, looks like a good find...reminds me of my CJ *sniffle*

oh yea....i dont believe in spell check

Looks like some of the "junk" I buy... Those "turbine" wheels are the $hit.. Wish I could find a set, just to hang on to...
