Headlight Conversion Kits for 99TJ

I just did the conversion using a Delta Tech Kit from Essential Quadratec hoping to be able to see better at night with 99 TJ... The conversion kit low beams seems alot better than stock lamps but the high beam is wild. It goes up into the trees... My stock lamps didnt do that so I dont think I have a headlamp alignment problem I was looking for info on the assemblies showing a left or right install but they both seem to be exactly the same. Maybe I will swap them to see if makes any difference. I did not check the H4 bulbs to see if they were left or right types... I am using the Halogen H4 60/55 Watt bulbs. Another item I noticed was the terminals on the H4 bulbs are not as long as those on the the stock Wagner Halogen lamps and makes me wonder if the connector might work loose. The Delta version conversion kit uses a spring wire to hold the H4 bulbs inplace and all of that is covered with a large rubber boot. I was expecting the usual large plastic twist connector to gain access to the H4 bulbs. Im still out to lunch on the install. Maybe a better solution to my problem would have been to add additional driving lights on the bumper. I think the law says you can drive with four lamps on at a time. Any thought from anyone?

Re: Headlight Conversion Kits for 99TJ

AFAIK, there is no left or right. Everytime I have upgraded my headlights I've found they seem to really light up the trees. The alignment is probably fine, the beam spread is just way different than what you're used to. I always just pay attention to oncoming drivers....if they blink at me too often, I check the alignment. Yes, the spring clip thingy is pretty standard, I've never had a problem with one. I never noticed the connector length but I've never had a problem with that either.
