M-741615???? How bad does this look???

Now, before you look keep in mind that I'm going to move the fenders and widen them. And remove that spare tire and carrier. And move it a little closer to the cab. I was also thinking of putting some "step sides" on it. It's not too late to put the M-416 trailer back together and try to sell it again.

Novel idea, but I just don't think it looks right. It kinda irritates my eyes trying to make it match up.

the spare makes it all come together.

you need to hide the big spaces between the frame and the bed.

Re: M-741615???? How bad does this look???

Ummm...a couple of questions before I offer an opinion...
1)are you going to leave the trailer the same length when you move it closer to the cab
2)are the fenders going to be the same width as the fenders up front or wider
The reason I ask is because it's like the trailer needs to be beefier to mesh well w/ the rest of the kaiser... I know astetics aren't everything but it just seems to be missing something other than that you seem to be doing a bang up job...can't wait to see it @ URE...you should let me drive

It would be real easy to widen alot and stretch it a little. I think it wouldn't look to bad then.

Don't butcher that M416!! I think a flat bed with some tubing from the roll cage will look a hell of a lot better. In one of the latest Peterson's there was s Stupid Duty with a flat bed and tubing that kicked ass. With the M416, the kegs, or should I say, "fuel cells" would take up most of the space anyway.

Now maybe this is a silly question... but here goes.

Can you find a M715 bed somewhere?

If not... take it out... get it really muddy and never wash it.

Re: M-741615???? How bad does this look???

uuhhhh... me no likey. 2 reasons:

1.(primary basis) Really HATE to see a relatively rare (these days) -416 get unnecessarily 'lost'... ; and

2. -416 bed is too small for the 'space' it is [not] filling up.

Suggestion?: Can't you 'find' a bigger M-105 (or some such) trailer bed for cheap around North Kackilcacky? W/ Lejeune & Bragg thereabouts, I'd think a 1 1/4 or 1 1/2 ton military trailer [bed] would be fairly easy/cheap to find... Probably a better 'fit' too, wouldn't it? (Therefore maybe no need to for additional 'fill-in' work for the spaces or widening??? )

But, as oft is said hereabouts: 'Tis yours, and you can do as you wish - us peanut gallery dwellers are merely 'spectators'.

What's filling the gap between the cab and trailer bed?
