O/T Anyone have GT4 yet?

Does anyone own Gran Turismo 4 yet? If so, is anyone running a high-def connection from their PS2 to their TV? Curious how good it looks.

I think your asking the wrong crowd this question. I wonder how many people are scratching their heads wondering what a high-def connection from a ps2 is let alone how to get it on their tv

Re: O/T Anyone have GT4 yet?

High Def would be High Definition...the latest and greatest standard for TV...it's about 4x the resolution of existing TV's.

I would assume PS2 refers to Play Station 2.

gjk is right...this is the wrong crowd....instead of burning hours sitting in front of a Play Station playing games, we lay underneath our jeeps for days making them better....or just making them.

I can spend hours under my jeep saying "what the hell is that thing, and what does it do?". But it doesn't keep me from looking again.

I personally prefer the title of Techno Geek.

But I'm usually called worse.....usally about the time I'm putting on the cuffs or towing thier car.....some people have no sense of humor......

I haven't tried it yet but a buddy has it and says it rocks.

I'll wait until it comes out as a greatest hits for 19.99 instead of 49.99

Re: O/T Anyone have GT4 yet?

I ended up going out and buying it plus the component cable. Thats the cable that has a red, green and blue connector. Short of a DVI connection it provides the best video. I gotta say, the video quality is stunning. Reflections in the hood, roof, and windows of the cars look near-real.

I'm by no means someone who spends hours in front of a TV playing video games. But I am interested in seeing the near-unbelieveable feats they are able to do with graphics nowadays.

If you want, check out this website.
