Re: Diff. between Sahara and Rio Grande?

Rio is a handsome law enforcement officer.
Sahara is an old dried up place.
They rapidly approach each other.

Sorry Jeff

i think the dif between the two is just cosmetic....the drivelines are the same and all that, saharah had fancier seats and all that....

Re: Diff. between Sahara and Rio Grande?

Sorry, they are both package deals. The Sahara is a fancy one with a 6 cylinder. The Rio a 4 cylinder.

My "sorry" comment was to the original poster for the quips, not to you Greg. I'm a slow typer and not smart enough to want to really insult someone.

Re: Diff. between Sahara and Rio Grande?

What do you drive Larry?? I think I know a guy in owensboro!!

Oh now I know what you are asking.... I was thingking one is a desert and the other a river,, but didn't want to find out I was wrong!!

Sahara is the caddy version of a jeep bigger engine, nicer interior and fancy cup holders. I think they came with factory hard tops as well.

Rio_Grande which as you can tell I used to own, was indeed a 4 cyl, had the new style tj seats in it and was more basic in aminites, had carpet but it was not the nice carpet, had aluminum wheels, and rio grande on the back of the tub. I think they also offered some unique colors hence Aaron's Mango (Orangish pink) and my Pearl Aqua (Light blue)

I liked mine, cause I tore all the carpet and stuff out anyway.... Shame I traded it on this TJ.

Jeff, I drive a red Yugo, a white Kia and a blue Honda.
You wont see me in any of that "made in America" stuff.
