o/t traffic lights?

Does anyone else have problems at traffic lights getting the advance left turn to trigger with their jeeps?

I was sitting at the light for 3 rotations today before i even realised what was going on..

so a combination of SOA, and flat skid right up under the frame rails, i was having a very hard time triggering the light..

Ended up having to pull forward of the mark, and have the guy behind me trigger it...

I don't suppose there's a cheap easy fix that doesn't involve lowering the jeep?

I had the same problem riding a bicycle.
Maybe you can drop a chain on the road.

You might try some motorcycle shops. I seem to recall a little box you can put on motorcycles that will cause the lights to trip.

Re: o/t traffic lights?

Uh huh. Had that prob. Also can be a problem in some parking lots. Can't trigger the gate to get in. Had one I HAD TO go in for a while. Had to carry a piece of steel plate to throw on the ground. Was a real PITA, but it worked. Not really an option at a traffic light though.

Have you considered just driving over a low rider to get it to trip?

Another Suggestion is to buy a new Pair of running shoes and get out of the cab run over and push the crosswalk button..
