Re: Tornado in Temecula!

Wonder of wonders! A tornado in Southern Cal!

Reminds me of the snow recieved at Camp Pendleton in Jan '88, down in Camp Deluz @ the old squad leader course compound. (That same exercise that I floated a CUCV down the flooded Santa Margarita River while trying to cross it. (The snow had turned to torrential rain during a machine gun shoot.) Had to go see the (very unhappy) BnCmdr over that one....

Glad all is okay Chris... now to get through the next fire season and earthquakes... BTW, are you due to deploy anytime soon? IF so, float or sandbox rotation? (I was surprised to see Pat, et.al. returning so soon... seemed like they had just gotten back.

Yeah, it wasn't that bad. For a couple minutes the rain changed from coming straight down to blowing sideways. Pretty intense for here, but mild compared to some of the storms I've seen in the midwest.

It would be nice, though, if it would stop raining for a while...

You can say that again

You guys are sending us all those storms and we now have had 2 years of rain fall in 2 months

I want to get back in my Jeep (Top is off)

The dry washes around here are all running full like little raging rivers

Well anyway the lakes are filling back up Thats a good thing
