CJ Windshield wiper question

I'm finally installing the wipers on my CJ7. The bosses in the windshield frame have an alignment bump that fits into a notch in the windshield frame. Can someone please tell me the orientation of the notch?

It really doesn't matter, but "UP" works for me. All it does is keep the bearing from rotating.

Mine have stops that prevent the wiper arms from rotating too far in either direction, so they have to be installed properly.

This frame doesn't even have holes.

Re: CJ Windshield wiper question

Well, they're whatever was original. Including the blades. The parts outside are stainless, the journal looks like diecast zinc, the bushings are bronze and the links are plated steel.
