OT Need advice repairing overhead camper

We got the Starcraft overhead camper a few months ago and I have noticed the bed over the cab is drooping down a little on one side. I'm thinking of using some 2"x 2"x 3/16" angle iron with a small gusset in the corner fix it. Anyone have any better ideas? I have a small 45 degree brace on it now but I hate the way it looks. I know this is a common problem with overhead campers. Mine is a pop up type and that makes it worse with even less support. I would like to repair the camper and not make it look cobbled up. Thanks for any help.
