Posting Multiple Pictures in a Message.

For those making multiple posts within a single thread in order to post multiple pictures, here's a little secrete...

You can upload more than one picture to a single message. As example, you upload picture number one. You edit the message to place the URL of the image into the image code.

Then you change the post.

Then you edit the message and upload a 2nd picture... This picture's URL is shown in the ATTACH message in the title of the message. Copy URL of the 2nd picture. Now edit the message a 2nd time.

Now insert the code for an image and paste the image URL into the Image Code.

When you are asked if you want to delete the first picture, don't check the box. Otherwise the first picture will be removed from the server. The reference in the tile goes away, but it's still stored on the server and can be referenced.

You've now got two pictures in one message.

This process can be repeated several times...

See, clear as mud!

I'm not so sure John, I'm going to try it over at JU as well... it may just be a software quirk that the server doesn't automatically remove non-message refered picutures.

You can also go to the Test stuff here board and copy all the URL's you posted over there to the post on the board that you want to fill with pics. At least, that's how I do it...

Re: Posting Multiple Pictures in a Message.

This must be new since the board "upgrade". I tried this several times in the past and it would just delete the first image...Have you tried it with more than 2 images?
