Re: Temp Gauge Actin Up

Sounds like an aftermarket temp gauge.

Mechanical or electrical? If it is electrical, I would suggest that you check all your connections. Maybe give a little pull on all the wires just to be sure that they are securly clamped in the terminal. Make sure your ground is good. I had an electrical were I lost my ground and it peg itself. evetually it messed something up inside because of this and always remained at 1/2 scale. I fixed the OEM gauge in the Speedometer and got that working.

If it mechanical I would suspect the gauge is going bad but it could be your low on water and were ever you have the sensor installed there is no water surrounding it all the time because of an air bubble or something. This would also be true with an electrical gauge.
