Bestop Sound Bar or Centra Pod Speaker pod?

OR

I can only afford one, but may get the other in the future once funds are available. I've had a lucky streak at the casino so its time the CJ gets some lovin.

The sound bar has 6.5 inch speakers and the pod comes with or can be fitted with 5.25 inch speakers.

Pod is $130 w/ speakers....$70 w/o
Sound bar is $264 w speakers and dome light.

Feelings, opinions, first hand experience with either? Since I don't have the family style cage I can't put in a standard sound bar which goes from side to side which is why I like this one because it mounts to the main hoop.

i can say you'll prolly hear the over-head speakers better ...top on and top off.

I second that, I have a sound bar that only has 4" speakers in it and I have never had a problem hearing them under any circumstances. Alot of people say they have problems with no top or with their top flapping in the wind but the speakers are right in your ear and I have never had that problem.

Only thing is with a sound bar you tend to hear only one side of the stereo. When I'm alone it's no big deal because I can use the balance to adjust so their equal. When someone else is riding with me there is no fair way to do it.

I will be thinking about this in the future but wouldn't you think a sound bar is like candy to a thief?

IMO the speakers on the ground would absorb more water. I have a OEM YJ sound bar. Only speakers I have are in it. Plus the fancy light.
