Project Ugly brown CJ

As it sits now. AMC258 running on Propane/T150/D20/Ford9/D44/SOA/35x14.5 boggers/CJ5


Plans
1. pull Tcase & Tranny
2. swap in the D300 and TF999
3. Remove the back half of the Jeep and frame
4. 4link rear with Astro coils or single link
5. Buggy the back
6. Pull motor and have it built for propane
7. PCS CJ HYDRO Asst kit.

Sounds like it will be quite a transformation, keep us updated as to the progress and post pics, give us more detail on your propane set-up inquiring minds want to know....

PM me if you have any questions on adding propane to a AMC 258. It's around 450 for the whole system.

To add to the thread Lets talk tires.
My axles are D44 w/Ezlock, 5.89s and stock shafts and u-joints and a 31 spline Ford 9", 5.86s w/a full Spool.

Thinking one from this list will be replacing my 35 boggers.

36 TSLs
38TSLs
38SX
39.5 Iroks

Keep in mind after my new susp I'll be at 105 wheel base.

So, you're not running on regular gasoline anymore. Only 100% propane?
