O/T Pics of my NOS setup on my Vette

So I finished my NOS setup on my vette a week or so back, and thought some of you guys might want to see pics of the finished product. Not exactly jeep related, but hey, I do know someone with a tuned port setup in their CJ, so maybe it is! I am EXTREMELY happy with the results. Mainly a dyno-proven 360 Horsepower, 410 Ft/Lbs of torque vehicle.

Switches mounted: The blue button in the middle is my purge button, the Toggle to the right is the arming button for the NOS, and the silver toggle is just a manual override for the power antenna:

The wiring side of things - I used black loom to cover most of the wiring. The kit came with a relay, which was fairly straightforward. I hid it all under the brake booster, for the most part.

Another shot of that side, you can see the WOT switch mounted on the throttle body. I used one of the throttle body bolts to mount the bracket, which I bent 4 different ways to get the switch to engage at the proper time.

Tank mounted in back:

Solenoids & Lines. I routed the main line from the tank through the firewall on the drivers side, behind the distributor, etc, and round to the solenoids. Routed the feed lines to the throttle plate behind the intake runners. Could still use some cleaning up, but I think it looks cool enough. I mounted the solenoid bracket/solenoids to one of the fuel rail torx bolts......

Closer view:

All in all it was a fairly involved installation - not incredibly hard, just tedious with all the wiring and what not. I am EXTREMELY happy with the results though...

later,
pablo

I would think it that it would be easier to tweak the motor.. AFTER, you put it in the Jeep.

Edit: We now know what it takes to make RRich speachless (well almost).

Re: O/T Pics of my NOS setup on my Vette

Since we are on the topic of Nitrous. This is a picture of my daughter. We are in the process of building a stroked 4.0 for her Wrangler and this was her Birthday/Christmas present. A Corvette on NOS would be way to much fun! We plan to be around 270hp when the 4.0 is done plus another 150-200 on the bottle!
