Emergency flashers for trailer?

The other day I was wondering if there was a way to wire up warning flashers on my trailer in the event I had to leave it on the side of the road (without a vehicle on it without working flashers). I have a battery on the trailer for the break away brakes and a winch so I have power. After a little thought this is what I came up with. I had all the stuff laying around to wire this up, so the cost was right. If it saves a trailer had to be left on the side of the road due to an emergency it will be well worth the the small cost.

Re: Emergency flashers for trailer?

Nice -- while you are wiring it -- it's very helpful to mount a couple of 12 volt white lights on it -- sure helps when loading it up in the dark.
Driving lights, back-up lights, even dome light fixtures make a huge difference. Anything that replaces a flashlight.

And -- I mounted a running light on the tool box on the tongue. Too many times some yo yo comes on an on ramp, or changes lanes and cuts in right behind the tow rig, not knowing there's a trailer behind you.
Twice the idiots have kissed my trailer - never saw the regular running lights!

There is no intelligence test to get a drivers license! An IQ of 6 is high enough!
