Anyone know the GPM or PSI on a saganaw ps pump?

I'm trying to slowly engineer my full hydro front and rear steer system.
I need to make sure I match everything in my system so that it works correctly.
I'm thinking 2" bore 8" stroke single ended cylinders front and rear.
Either a 4.5 or 5.7 orbital valve for the front.
I wanted a center mount joystick for the rear steer. This is where it gets confusing. I need to know the gpm and psi of a stock pump to get the right valve. I don't even know if a stock pump will have the balls to let me steer both ends at teh same time.

even a modified stocker wont let you steer both at once with out turning some higher RPMS(idle is ruff)
i run my saginaw in basically a overdrive pully swtup, and it seems to help, runing the smallest pump pulley i could find around a large crank pulley.
i run combine orbital valves and they work damm great, plus are CHEAP.

Aaron,
You have to measure the throw of your tie rods before determining the stroke of your cylinder.

I guess PSI is around 500 to 700 and up to 900 if I use the 1-ton chevy pump equiped w/ hydroboost.

GPM (gallons per minute)??????????? anyone?
Anyone out there sharp enough to calculate it from the psi?

Guessing you haven't found this POR article on Hydraulic Steering? "Part 2" has a nice list of Saginaw pumps and their respective pressures & flow rates.

Just trying to HBO!

Re: Anyone know the GPM or PSI on a saganaw ps pump?

have setup front hydros and one front/rear hydro.
it wotn steer bot hthe way you like at low rpms, but steering both at the same time while dirivn gwith low RPM's is enough trouble just trying to do without hitting things. just steer the front and point it the right direction while you cycle the back. it will work fine.
