I got a TJ!

hi all
Well, i did it. I finally found me a TJ for what i deemed a good price, and bought that sucker. Now i have a tow rig for the CJ. Its a 98, and is in good condition. I am quite excited, this is the first car ive ever owned with more than 3 speeds and air conditioning. Quite a step up from a '59 ford fairlane. So its back to saving money, i think the first thing i might get is side steps. aside from looking cool, the girls complain about having to jump up into the jeep. silly girls. So now, all i have to do is try to refrain from doing anything stupid in it, and remember that the CJ is the dedicated trail rig, and hopefully itll have years of happiness in it.

Go Jeep!

oh blast, didnt change the signature... ignore that bit

Re: I got a TJ!

Ahhh... well, im glad i mentioned that before i actually did it. i knew i kept yall around for a good reason. anyway, now i have a nice ride to scout out new trails that i can later figure out how to get the CJ to. actualy, come to think of it, my dads tow rig is a 1939 ford truck with a SBC 350.... jeeps gotta be better than that? but it doesnt matter. gotta make the CJ run first.

Re: I got a TJ!

A TJ has a max towing capacity of 2000 lbs.
You could barely tow an empty car hauler with that. My new trailer weighs 2000 lbs.
