No Jeep here but......I'll be down there that weekend. BTW, the offer still stands for camping etc at my place in Nebo.

It sounds like we have a run in the making! I think Frank's on board. I like the idea of camping at ecamp's place, too. Great offer! Thanks!

Terrific!

Does anybody have an open seat? There's an old friend who just bought a YJ. He's afraid to wheel it, but once told me that he'd like to ride along.

Re: Rockport September 11th weekend?

Its in my to do list so I'm gonna be there. I may or may not have an open seat, but I probly won't know until a few days in advance. I'm gonna try and fill my empty seat with some cute girl if I can find one in time. I'm also gonna try and convince a guy I know with an XJ to come and I'll see if he's got seats if he'll go. Jim, are you sayin that Frank is hesitant to wheel his new find?

Not at all. Frank doesn't have a new find. He never could agree to a price on that one he looked at a few months ago.

This is a different friend, a guy I worked with in the car business 30 years ago. We lost touch when he went to a different dealership, and just reconnected back in the spring when my brother was thinking about buying a piece of property from him. After we went to lunch a couple of times in my Jeep, Fletch went out and bought a YJ. Then he took it to a body shop to have the dents taken out of the hood. We drove around to my back yard in mine, and he said that he'd never do that in his - might get it scratched. But I figure that if we work on him a little, he'll come around.
