YJ brake booster on CJ - Good Idea or Not

I know the topic of upgrading brakes has often been discussed and I have searched/read numerous posts about doing so. I am interested in upgrading my manual brakes (as cheaply as feasible) on my 84 CJ7 to a power setup but also wish to do so the easiest manner. It appears most people will say go with the GM dual diaphram setup. However, I read this post on JU that shows how a YJ upgrade is "virtually" a bolt on upgrade (supposedly). However, I have learned not to place too much credibility on any one source. So without opening a huge debate has anyone done the YJ to CJ brake upgrade and is it worth doing. I am concerned about too much modification/fabrication on my brakes. Brakes and steering are two areas that make me a bit nervous.

Thanks for you comments and opinions.
